DTC U0322-51: Software Incompatibility with Body Control Module Not Programmed; DTC U0322-57: Software Incompatibility with Body Control Module Invalid/Incompatible Software Component [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (MAIN BODY) 
    1. Check for DTCs of main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    B 

    GO TO  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2020 - ] 

    Result: 

    A

  2. CHECK FOR DTCs (HEALTH CHECK) 
    1. Using the Techstream, perform a health check.

      OK

      ECUs other than the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly do not output specification information mismatch DTCs related to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2021 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) 
    1. Check that the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) that is installed is a Toyota genuine part.

      OK

      The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) that is installed is a Toyota genuine part

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2021 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. CHECK FOR DTC (ENGINE AND ECT) 
    1. Check for DTCs of SFI system.

      Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    B 

    GO TO SFI SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2020 - ] 

    Result: 

    A

  5. CHECK FOR DTC (HEALTH CHECK) 
    1. Using the Techstream, perform a health check.

      OK

      ECUs other than the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly do not output specification information mismatch DTCs related to the ECM.

  6. CHECK ECM 
    1. Check that the ECM that is installed is a Toyota genuine part.

      OK

    REPLACE ECM. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

  7. CHECK FOR DTC (FRONT RADAR SENSOR) 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Front Radar Sensor > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    B 

    REPLACE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - ]
