Terminals Of Ecu [12/2019 - ]

  1. CHECK 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Measure the voltage and resistance of the connector.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M41-1 (GND) - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M41-2 (BSLC) - M41-1 (GND) 4WD ECU assembly power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M41-3 (TNF) - M41-1 (GND) No. 1 4 wheel drive position switch input Ignition switch ON 0.5 to 4.5 V
      M41-5 (SLF+) - M41-1 (GND) Front 4WD linear solenoid (transfer assembly) (+) output Ignition switch ON 2.2 to 11.2 V
      M41-6 (SLF-) - M41-1 (GND) Front 4WD linear solenoid (transfer assembly) (-) output Ignition switch ON 2.2 to 11.2 V
      M41-9 (PS-) - M41-1 (GND) Transmission revolution sensor input Ignition switch ON 0.2 to 3.9 V
      M41-11 (TVCF) - M41-1 (GND) No. 1 4 wheel drive position switch power supply output Ignition switch ON 4.5 to 5.5 V
      M41-13 (THR+) - M41-1 (GND) Temperature sensor (+) input Ignition switch ON 0.5 to 4.5 V
      M41-16 (SLFS) - M41-1 (GND) Front 4WD linear solenoid (transfer assembly) shield ground Always Below 10 Ω
      M41-18 (TEF) - M41-1 (GND) No. 1 4 wheel drive position switch ground Always Below 10 Ω
      M41-19 (PS+) - M41-1 (GND) Transmission revolution sensor power supply output Ignition switch ON 9 to 14 V
      M41-21 (THR-) - M41-1 (GND) Temperature sensor (-) input Ignition switch ON 0.5 to 4.5 V
      M41-24 (IG1) - M41-1 (GND) 4WD ECU assembly power supply input Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      M42-4 (SLC+) - M42-3 (SLC-) 4WD linear solenoid (electro magnetic control coupling sub-assembly) signal D position, engine idling Pulse generation (See waveform 1)
      M42-5 (SLR+) - M41-1 (GND) Rear 4WD linear solenoid (rear differential carrier assembly) (+) output Ignition switch ON 2.2 to 11.2 V
      M42-6 (SLR-) - M41-1 (GND) Rear 4WD linear solenoid (rear differential carrier assembly) (-) output Ignition switch ON 2.2 to 11.2 V
      M42-16 (SLRS) - M41-1 (GND) Rear 4WD linear solenoid (rear differential carrier assembly) shield ground Always Below 10 Ω
      M42-17 (CANH) - M42-26 (CANL) CAN communication line Ignition switch off 54 to 69 Ω
      M42-18 (OMS) - M41-1 (GND) Multi-terrain select switch (crawl control switch assembly) input Ignition switch ON (Switch not operated) 11 to 14 V
      M42-19 (OMSG) - M41-1 (GND) Multi-terrain select switch (crawl control switch assembly) ground Always Below 10 Ω
    2. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform 1.
