Installation [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR 
    1. Engage the clamp to install the vacuum hose to the front engine mounting insulator.
    2. Connect the vacuum hose to the front engine mounting insulator.
    3. Install the front engine mounting insulator to the front frame assembly with the 3 nuts.

      Torque: 72 N.m (734 kgf/cm, 53 ft.lbf) 

    4. Install the front engine mounting bracket to the transaxle housing with the 3 bolts.

      Bolt (A), (B) and (C) 

      Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Temporarily tighten the bolt (A), and then fully tighten the 3 bolts in the order of (B), (C) and (A).

    5. Install the front engine mounting bracket to the front engine mounting insulator with the bolt.

      Bolt (D) 

      Torque: 72 N.m (734 kgf/cm, 53 ft.lbf) 

    6. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    7. Connect the transmission wire connector and rotate the lever to lock it.

    8. Connect the ECM connector and rotate the lever to lock it.

      NOTE:
      • When connecting the ECM connector, make sure that the connecting parts of the ECM connector are free of dirt, water and other foreign matter.
      • Be sure to securely connect the ECM connector.
    9. Install the engine wire with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

    10. Engage the 4 wire harness clamps.
  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  3. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 79 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 79 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 80 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 80 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  5. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 81 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 81 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  6. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 82 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 82 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  7. INSTALL VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for Active Control Engine Mount System) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to INSTALLATION [09/2020 - 10/2022] 

  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
