  1. FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION 
    1. When a malfunction occurs in the pre-collision system, a message will be displayed on the multi-information display and the pre-collision system will be disabled depending on the malfunction.
      FOR HV MODEL

      Warning Message Cause DTC/RoB No. Conditions to Return to Normal
      "Pre-Collision System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" Pre-collision system malfunction C1425-71 The ignition switch is turned to ON after an abnormal stop light relay signal is no longer received from the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly).
      U0125-87 Communication with the yaw rate sensor returns to normal.
      U0126-87 Communication with the steering sensor returns to normal.
      U0129-87 Communication with the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) returns to normal.
      U0235-87 Communication with the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly returns to normal.
      U023A-87 Communication with the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) returns to normal.
      U0293-87 Communication with the hybrid vehicle control ECU returns to normal.
      U0300-51 3 seconds or more elapse after the vehicle information (Conv/HV) of the forward recognition camera is acquired.
      U0300-57 The vehicle information (Conv/HV) in the hybrid vehicle control ECU and forward recognition camera match.
      U0418-81 The ignition switch is turned to ON after a signal indicating a brake system malfunction is no longer received from the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly).
      X2000 The ignition switch is turned to ON after a signal indicating a malfunction of the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) or yaw rate sensor is no longer received.
      X2001 The ignition switch is turned to ON after a signal indicating a malfunction of the steering angle sensor is no longer received from the steering angle sensor.
      X2002 A signal indicating a malfunction of the accelerator pedal position sensor is no longer received from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
      X2003 A signal indicating an electronically controlled brake system malfunction is no longer received from the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly).
      X2011 The vehicle information in the forward recognition camera is verified.
      X2012 The ignition switch is turned to ON after it is determined that the forward recognition camera is no longer malfunctioning.
      X2013 The ignition switch is turned to ON after it is determined that the optical axis of the forward recognition camera is no longer misaligned.
      X2014 It is determined that the forward recognition camera optical axis is calibrated.
      X2018 The ignition switch is turned to ON after it is determined that the heater of the forward recognition camera is no longer malfunctioning.
      X201D A signal indicating that the destination does not match is no longer received.
      X2020 A signal from the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly indicating misalignment is no longer received.
      X2021 The ignition switch is turned to ON after a signal from the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly indicating a malfunction is no longer received.
      X2022 The ignition switch is turned to ON after a signal from the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly indicating beam axis misalignment is no longer received.
      X2023 A signal from the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly indicating that beam axis has not been calibrated is no longer received.
      X2070 A forward recognition camera communication error signal sent by the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is no longer received.
      "Pre-Collision System Unavailable" Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly misaligned X2024 Millimeter wave radar sensor beam axis adjustment is completed and beam axis learning is completed.
      X2025
      "Pre-Collision System Unavailable Clean Sensor" Foreign matter attached to millimeter wave radar sensor assembly X2026 Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is cleaned.
      "Pre-Collision System Unavailable" Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly temperature malfunction X2027 Millimeter wave radar sensor temperature returns to normal.
      Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly voltage malfunction X2028 Millimeter wave radar sensor voltage returns to normal.
      "Front Camera Unavailable See Owner's Manual" Forward recognition camera or area of the windshield in front of the camera is dirty or fogged up X2015 Forward recognition camera or area of windshield glass in front of forward recognition camera is cleaned or defogged.
      "Front Camera Unavailable" Forward recognition camera temperature outside of operational range X2016 Forward recognition camera temperature returns to normal.
      Forward recognition camera voltage outside of operational range X2017 Forward recognition camera voltage returns to normal.
      Forward recognition camera is temporarily unavailable (forward recognition camera recognition stopped) X201F The conditions which prevent the forward recognition camera from performing recognition return to normal.
      FOR GASOLINE MODEL

      U0235-87 Communication with the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly returns to normal.
      U023A-87 Communication with the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) returns to normal.
      U0300-51 3 seconds or more elapse after the vehicle information (Conv/HV) of the forward recognition camera is acquired.
      U0300-57 The vehicle information (Conv/HV) in the ECM and forward recognition camera match.
      U0418-81 The ignition switch is turned to ON after a signal indicating a brake system malfunction is no longer received from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly).
      X2000 The ignition switch is turned to ON after a signal indicating a malfunction of the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) or airbag sensor assembly is no longer received.
      X2001 The ignition switch is turned to ON after a signal indicating a malfunction of the steering angle sensor is no longer received from the steering angle sensor.
      X2002 A signal indicating a malfunction of the accelerator pedal position sensor is no longer received from the ECM.
      X2003 A signal indicating an electronically controlled brake system malfunction is no longer received from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly).
