Pre-collision System Cancel Switch Circuit [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Remove the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).
- Inspect the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly (Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - ] )

REPLACE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

OK

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the 127 pre-collision system cancel switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the E117 driving support ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 127-8 (ECU) - E117-5 (PBSW) Pre-collision system cancel switch assembly off 10k Ω or higher Pre-collision system cancel switch assembly on Below 1 Ω

NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

- CHECK DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY
- Replace the seat heater control sub-assembly LH with a new or known good one (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] )
- The pre-collision system cancel switch is turned off.
- Check the PCS indicator light in the combination meter assembly.
OK
The PCS indicator light will illuminate.
