How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [11/2015 - 12/2018]: Procedure

  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

  4. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2017 - 12/2018]

  5. CHECK FOR DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA* 
    1. Refer to DTC Check / Clear for the blind spot monitor system.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2015 - 12/2018] 

    2. Record or print DTCs and freeze frame data, if necessary.

      Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [11/2015 - 12/2018]

  10. PERFORM BEAM AXIS INSPECTION AND CONFIRMATION 
    1. Enter Test Mode (refer to Blind Spot Monitor Beam Axis Inspection).

    2. Confirm the blind spot monitor beam axis display and perform the blind spot monitor beam axis adjustment.
