Entry Unlock and Unlatch Functions do not Operate Using Kick Sensor [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
2. Enter the following menus: [Settings] → [Vehicle customize] → [Door control]
3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

   Display	Description	Default	Setting	Relevant ECU
   Hands Free	Function that can be used to set the hands free power back door.	ON	ON or OFF	Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

The multiplex network door ECU receives kick detection signals from the kick door control sensor and sends certification requests to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly). If certification is OK, an open permission is sent to the multiplex network door ECU.
