Removal [11/2018 - 08/2020]: Procedure

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020]
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [11/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2019 - 08/2020]
REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
See step 4

REMOVE ECM

Rotate the 3 levers while pushing the locks, and disconnect the 3 ECM connectors.

NOTE:

After disconnecting the ECM connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the ECM connectors.

Remove the 2 bolts, nut and ECM.

NOTE:

If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 ECM bracket from the ECM.

REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 ECM bracket from the ECM.
