DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to REPLACEMENT [11/2018 - ]
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Grille Shutter)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2023 - ]
REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (w/ Grille Shutter)
See step 3
REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE (w/ Grille Shutter)
See step 4

REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (w/ Grille Shutter)

Disconnect the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

Remove the clip and No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet.

NOTE:

If the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

REMOVE BATTERY
Refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

Remove the clip and engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet.

NOTE:

If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
