Stop and Start Cancel Switch Circuit [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Stop and Start / Data List / Stop&Start Cancel Switch.

   Powertrain > Stop and Start > Data List 

   Tester Display
   Stop&Start Cancel Switch

5. Read the value when the stop and start system cancel switch (eco run cancel switch assembly) is pressed.

   OK

   Techstream Display	Condition	Normal Condition
   Stop&Start Cancel Switch	Stop and start system cancel switch (eco run cancel switch assembly) is pressed	ON
   	Stop and start system cancel switch (eco run cancel switch assembly) is not pressed	OFF

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2023 - ]

1. Inspect the stop and start system cancel switch (eco run cancel switch assembly).

   Refer to INSPECTION [11/2018 - ]

REPLACE STOP AND START SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH (ECO RUN CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

OK

1. Disconnect the stop and start system cancel switch (eco run cancel switch assembly) connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G51-2 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the engine stop and start ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the stop and start system cancel switch (eco run cancel switch assembly) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A32-5 (ECAN) - G51-5 (ECU)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A32-5 (ECAN) or G51-5 (ECU) - Body ground and other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPLACE ENGINE STOP AND START ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]
