Removal [10/2019 - 08/2020]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- READ NUMBER OF STARTER OPERATIONS
Refer to REGISTRATION [10/2019 - 12/2021]
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2019 - 06/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2020 - 08/2020]
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020]
- REMOVE ENGINE STOP AND START ECU
- Remove the engine stop and start solenoid filter.
See step 2
- Disconnect the 3 connectors from the engine stop and start ECU.
- Detach the clamp and disconnect the wire harness from the engine stop and start ECU.
- Remove the 2 nuts and engine stop and start ECU.
- Remove the engine stop and start solenoid filter.
