- Remove the windshield wiper switch assembly.

- Disconnect the H14 windshield wiper switch assembly connector.

- Disconnect the H14 windshield wiper switch assembly connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU [MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU])
- Disconnect the H131 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Inspect the rear wiper switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition H131-11 (RWIN) - Body ground Rear wiper switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher H131-15 (RWON) - Body ground H131-11 (RWIN) - Body ground Rear wiper switch LO Below 1 Ω H131-15 (RWON) - Body ground Rear wiper switch HI Below 1 Ω H131-23 (RWSW) - Body ground Rear washer switch ON (Rear wiper switch in ON position) Below 1 Ω - Inspect the rear washer switch.
