- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (TELESCOPIC MOTOR)
- Check that the steering column contracts and extends.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - TELESCOPIC POSITION SENSOR (STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY))
- Disconnect the E49 multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU connector.
- Disconnect the E42 telescopic motor (steering column assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
