- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (iMT SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY) - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the I177 iMT switch (combination switch assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I177-5 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Connect the I177 iMT switch (combination switch assembly) connector.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (iMT SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY) - ECM)
- Disconnect the I177 iMT switch (combination switch assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the A139 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I177-3 (MSW1) -A139-4 (MTMS) Always Below 1 Ω I177-3 (MSW1) or A139-4 (MTMS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Connect the A139 ECM connector.
- Connect the I177 iMT switch (combination switch assembly) connector.
