DTC B2256: Data Communication Module Communication Open [11/2021 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC
- Using the GTS, perform the clear memory of [Cockpit Control].
Body Electrical > Cockpit Control > Clear DTCs
- Turn the ignition switch OFF → ON.
- Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the GTS.
Body Electrical > Cockpit Control > Trouble Codes
Is DTC B2256 displayed? (Current malfunction)
Result Proceed to YES A NO (Use Simulation Method to Check) B

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
HINT:
In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.

- Check the harness between the navigation ECU assembly connector and DCM (telematics transceiver).
