Monitor Description

OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS 

Detect malfunction of CAN communication.

U007B: Judge as NG when CAN communication failure has occurred.

U0101, U0122, U0155: Judge as NG when CAN communication failure between TCM, VSC (VDC) CM, and combination meter has occurred.

U0402, U0416, U0423: Judge as NG when data received from TCM, VSC (VDC) CM, and combination meter is not normal.

EXECUTION CONDITION

GENERAL DRIVING CYCLE 

Perform the diagnosis continuously after starting the engine.

DIAGNOSTIC METHOD 

Judge as NG when the following conditions are established.

U007B: 436 ms

U0101, U0122, U0155: 500 ms

U0402, U0416, U0423: 2000 ms

Malfunction indicator light illumination 

U007B: Does not illuminate even when malfunction occurs.

U0101, U0122, U0155, U0402, U0416, U0423: Illuminates as soon as a malfunction occurs.
