Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  2. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION TO COWL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Bank 2) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION TO COWL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Bank 1) 
    1. Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE ECM (for Bank 1) 
    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ] 
  5. REMOVE FUEL TUBE PROTECTOR (for Bank 2)

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL PIPE PROTECTOR LH (for Bank 2) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
  7. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

      *A for Bank 1 *B for Bank 2
      *a Spring *b Push
      1. Disconnect the 4 ignition coil assembly connectors.

        HINT: 

        To disconnect the connector, while pressing the spring shown in the figure, slide it in the direction of the arrow with a clip remover.

      2. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coil assemblies.
  8. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]
