Diagnosis System [11/2021 - ]

HINT:

It is possible to diagnose the DTC by performing the indicated inspection mode. After correcting the DTC, perform a necessary inspection mode and make sure that the function is resumed correctly and the DTC is recorded.

Diagnostic procedure:
1. Check that the battery voltage is 12 V or more and fuel remains approx. half [20 - 40 L (5.3 - 10.6 US gal, 4.4 - 8.8 Imp gal)].
2. Using the GTS, perform the clear DTCs of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start].
3. Using the GTS, read the DTC of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start] to check that there is no DTC displayed.
  HINT:
  
  If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).
4. Start the engine, and let it idle for 40 seconds or more.
5. Using the GTS, read the DTC of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start] to check that there is no DTC displayed.
  HINT:
  
  If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).

INSPECTION MODE 2

Diagnostic procedure:
1. Check that the battery voltage is 12 V or more and fuel remains approx. half [20 - 40 L (5.3 - 10.6 US gal, 4.4 - 8.8 Imp gal)].
2. Using the GTS, perform the clear DTCs of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start].
3. Using the GTS, read the DTC of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start] to check that there is no DTC displayed.
  HINT:
  
  If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).
4. Register the remote engine starter, and operate it.
5. Using the GTS, read the DTC of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start] to check that there is no DTC displayed.
  HINT:
  
  If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).

4. Drive for 20 seconds or more at a vehicle speed of 25 km/h (15.5 MPH) or more.
5. Using the GTS, read the DTC of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start] to check that there is no DTC displayed.

  If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).

4. Hold the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly that does not have a battery over the engine SW for collation.
5. Using the GTS, read the DTC of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start] to check that there is no DTC displayed.

  If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).

INSPECTION MODE 6

2. Using the GTS, perform the clear DTCs of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start].
3. Using the GTS, read the DTC of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start] to check that there is no DTC displayed.
  HINT:
  
  If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON, depress and hold the brake pedal for 20 seconds or more, then release the brake pedal and wait for 20 seconds and more.
5. Using the GTS, read the DTC of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start] to check that there is no DTC displayed.

  If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).
