Removal [03/2024 - ]: Procedure
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to REPLACEMENT [03/2024 - ]
- REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Radiator Side) NOTE:
If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Outlet Side) NOTE:
If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the engine coolant temperature sensor (for Cylinder Head Side) is necessary.
Refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - 12/2024] , or refer to REMOVAL [12/2024 - ]
- REMOVE E.F.I. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Water Inlet Housing Side)
- Disconnect the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
- Using SST, remove the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor from the water inlet housing.
- SST: 09817-33191
NOTE:If the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the gasket from the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor.
- REMOVE E.F.I. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Cylinder Head Side)
- Disconnect the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
- Using SST, remove the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor from the cylinder head sub-assembly.
- SST: 09817-33191
NOTE:If the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the gasket from the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor.
