DTC B1730: Central Gateway Control Module Ignition / Accessory Power [11/2021 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the GTS, perform the DTC clear of [Central Gateway].
Body Electrical > Central Gateway > Clear DTCs
- Read the DTC of [Central Gateway] using the GTS.
Body Electrical > Central Gateway > Trouble Codes
Is DTC B1730 displayed? (Current code)

- CHECK ACC POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn the ignition switch to off.
- Disconnect the F5 central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
- Measure the voltage between central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector and chassis ground.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F5-2 (ACC) - Chassis ground Ignition switch ACC 9 V or higher Is the voltage 9 V or higher?

- CHECK ACC RELAY OUTPUT
- Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
- Measure the voltage between ECU ACC terminal and chassis ground. (When ACC is ON)

CHECK ACC RELAY CIRCUIT
- Check ACC relay circuit.
- CHECK CONDITIONS OF CONNECTOR CONNECTION (CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU))
- Turn the ignition switch to off.
- Check the conditions of central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector connection, and check the terminals for contact pressure, deformation, and intrusion of water or foreign substance.
Is there looseness at the connector connection, or any poor contact at the relevant terminals?

CONNECT THE CONNECTOR SECURELY. OR REPAIR THE POOR CONTACT OF CONNECTOR.
- Connect the connector securely. Or repair the poor contact of connector.

- Check the connecting condition of connector in relay and fuse box (F/B) and check the relevant terminals for contact pressure, deformation and intrusion of water or foreign matter.
