Front Camera Module Communication Stop Mode [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to off.
    2. Disconnect the k1 forward recognition camera connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      (to Forward Recognition Camera)      		 - -

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      k1-10 ((H)_A/S CAN_H) - k1-9 ((H)_A/S CAN_L) Ignition switch off 52 to 62 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA) 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (EYESIGHT POWER UNIT CAN MAIN LINE) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      k1-1 (EYE LC3 CAN_H) - k1-2 (EYE LC3 CAN_L) Ignition switch off 114 to 126 Ω

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN MAIN BUS LINES OR CONNECTOR (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA)

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      k1-7 (GND1) - Chassis ground Ignition switch off Below 1 Ω
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      k1-8 (VB) - Chassis ground Always 10 to 15 V
