DTC B1571: Reference Code Incompatibility (Immobilizer CM to ECM) [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Perform ECM registration. Refer to the Registration provided as a separate volume.

   Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2021 - ]

   Is ECM registration finished? And does the engine start?

   Result	Proceed to
   Yes (ECM registration was not performed properly.)	A
   No	B

Result:

ECM REGISTRATION WAS NOT PERFORMED PROPERLY

1. Install the ECM from other normal operating vehicle (with push button start) which use same ECM to the vehicle to be diagnosed.
2. Perform ECM registration. Refer to the Registration provided as a separate volume.

   Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2021 - ]

   Is ECM registration finished? And does the engine start?

   Result	Proceed to
   Yes (Replace the ECM. Install the ECM from other vehicle to the original vehicle.)	A
   No (Replace the smart key ECU assembly (model without immobilizer code ECU) or the immobilizer code ECU (model with immobilizer code ECU).)	B

REPLACE ECM 

1. Replace the ECM.

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

2. Install the ECM from other vehicle to the original vehicle.

REPLACE SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY (MODEL WITHOUT IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU) OR IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU (MODEL WITH IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU)
