1. Ask the customer when and how the trouble occurred.

1. Perform basic inspection.

   NO (Repair the faulty part found in basic inspection, and Go to 3.)	B

1. Check the lighting condition of EPS warning light in the combination meter assembly.

   Does the EPS warning light illuminate?

   NO (Currently, it is normal.)	B

1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2. Connect the GTS to DLC3.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and run the GTS.
4. Select [Power Steering System].

   NO (Check the communication circuit.)	B

   Are DTC, time stamp and freeze frame data displayed?

1. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTC.

2. Repair or replace the cause of trouble.
3. Execute the inspection mode.

   Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [11/2021 - 12/2023]

4. Read the DTC of [Power Steering System] using the GTS.

   Chassis > Power Steering System > Trouble Codes 

   Is DTC displayed in current code?

   Result	Proceed to
   YES (Repeat step 6 until DTC is not shown.)	A
   NO (Clear the DTC to finish the diagnosis.)	B

CLEAR DTC TO FINISH DIAGNOSIS 

1. Execute the inspection mode.

   Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [11/2021 - 12/2023]

2. Read the DTC of [Power Steering System] using the GTS.

   Chassis > Power Steering System > Trouble Codes 

3. Check that the DTC is not displayed.

   Does the EPS warning light illuminate at ignition switch ON and turn off 3 seconds after the engine is started?
