DTC P1609: Internal Control Module Monitoring Processor Solenoid Cut Circuit [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Read the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Transmission Control System > Trouble Codes 

   Are DTCs other than DTC P1609 displayed?

   Result	Proceed to
   YES (Perform the diagnosis according to DTCs other than P1609.)	A
   NO	B

Result: 

A 

PERFORM DIAGNOSIS ACCORDING TO DTCS OTHER THAN P1609 

Result: 

B

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Transmission Control System > Clear DTCs 

2. Read the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Transmission Control System > Trouble Codes 

   Is DTC P1609 displayed?

   Result	Proceed to
   YES (Replace the TCM.)	A
   NO (Current condition is normal. Check for interference from noise, etc.)	B

Result: 

A 

REPLACE TCM. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - ] 

Result: 

B 

CHECK FOR INTERFERENCE FROM NOISE, ETC.
