Removal [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to REPLACEMENT [02/2024 - ]

  2. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    NOTE:

    If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  3. REMOVE E.F.I. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Water Inlet Housing Side) 
    NOTE:

    If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  4. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [02/2024 - ]

  5. REMOVE E.F.I. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Cylinder Head Side)

      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Using SST, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
        • SST: 09817-33191 
        NOTE:

        If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  6. REMOVE ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION 

    Refer to REMOVAL [02/2024 - ]

  7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Outlet Side) 
    NOTE:

    If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
