DTC P18AF-12: Gear Shift Control Module "B" EPBT Circuit Short to Battery [12/2022 - ]: Description
If the shift status cannot be changed from P to N due to a vehicle malfunction, towing using a tow truck, etc., is not possible.
Using a P position release tool, the shift actuator ECU sends an activation trigger (EPBT signal) to the shift actuator ECU to enable a shift state change from P to N. (for P position release tool compatible vehicles)
