Freeze Frame Data [11/2018 - 12/2021]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. When a pre-collision system DTC is stored, the forward recognition camera stores the current vehicle (ECU or sensor) state as Freeze Frame Data.
  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision System / Trouble Codes.

      Body Electrical > Pre-Collision System > Trouble Codes 

    5. According to the Techstream display, select a DTC that stored freeze frame data.
    6. Read the freeze frame data recorded when the DTC was stored.

      PBA Request Pre-collision brake assist operation status Not PBA Request, PBA Standby Request, PBA Request Level 1, PBA Request Level 2 Not PBA Request: Pre-collision brake assist operation is not requested.
      PBA Standby Request: Pre-collision brake assist weak assist is requested.
      PBA Request Level 1: Pre-collision brake assist mild assist is requested.
      PBA Request Level 2: Pre-collision brake assist strong assist is requested.      		 The value varies according to the possibility of a collision. The pre-collision brake assist request only indicates the status that the assist preparation is necessary. Whether or not the assist control is actually performed is dependent upon how the driver depresses the brake.

      PCS Warning Timing State Stored 1 Storage condition of warning sensitivity setting when the PCS function is on and the ignition switch is turned from off to ON. Stored or Not Stored Stored: Sensitivity and CAUTION settings are maintained as previous value
