DTC P2736-14: Pressure Control Solenoid "F" Control Circuit Low Circuit Short to Ground or Open [09/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT HYBRID MODULE ASSEMBLY (SOLENOID (SK0) VALVE) 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    Pre-procedure1

    • Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
      NOTE:

      After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the appropriate service information because this may cause a malfunction.

    • Disconnect the hybrid module assembly connector.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Hybrid Module Assembly)
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      D49-14 (SK0+) - D49-13 (SK0-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω Ω
      D49-14 (SK0+) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
      D49-13 (SK0-) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID MODULE ASSEMBLY - ECM) 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    Pre-procedure1

    • Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
      NOTE:

      After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the appropriate service information because this may cause a malfunction.

    • Disconnect the ECM connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      D35-15 (SK0+) - D35-16 (SK0-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω Ω
      D35-15 (SK0+) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
      D35-16 (SK0-) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher

    • None

    REPLACE ECM

  3. INSPECT SOLENOID (SK0) VALVE 

    for L4A0E: Refer to INSPECTION [09/2022 - ]

    REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE (HYBRID MODULE ASSEMBLY) 

    for L4A0E: Refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]

    REPLACE SOLENOID (SK0) VALVE (TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY (FOR MOTOR SIDE))
