Installation [03/2019 - ]: Procedure

1. Check the seal (1) on actuator (2) for damage and renew the seal, if applicable.

2. Position the cam timing oil control solenoid assemblies at the cylinder head cover.

   HINT: 

   The figure shows the rear side of the engine.

3. Position each SST correctly on the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly.
   • SST: 09960-10010 
     1. 09962-01000
     2. 09963-00350
4. Using SST, turn the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly on the exhaust camshaft adjuster (1) in the direction of the arrow until the limit positions rest against the clamps.

   • SST: 09960-10010

     2. 09963-00350
5. Using SST, turn the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly on the intake adjuster (1) in the direction of the arrow until the limit positions rest against the clamps.

6. Connect both connectors (1) to the cam timing oil control solenoid assemblies and route the cable correctly.
