Removal [03/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  2. REMOVE INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    NOTE:
    • Electrostatic discharge.

      Damage to or destruction of electrical components.

      • Only touch the housings of electrical components. Do not touch pins or multi-pin connectors directly.

    1. Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

    2. Using a 17 mm deep socket wrench, unscrew the intake air temperature sensor (2) with the special tool 0 496 142 (11 8 850).
    3. Take out and remove intake air temperature sensor (2).
