Installation [11/2021 - 05/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET 

    Torque: 4.5 N.m (46 kgf/cm, 40 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET 

    Torque: 4.5 N.m (46 kgf/cm, 40 in.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL ECM

      1. Install the ECM with the 3 bolts.

        Torque: 13 N.m (133 kgf/cm, 10 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      2. Attach the 2 wire harness clamps.
      3. Connect the 3 connectors to the ECM and push down the lever to lock it.
      4. Attach the 2 wire connector clamps.
  4. INSTALL AIR WITH ELEMENT CLEANER ASSEMBLY LH 
  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. WRITE VIN 

    Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2021 - ]

    HINT: 

    It requires when replacing the ECM.

  7. ECU CONFIGURATION 

    Refer to ECU CONFIGURATION [11/2021 - 05/2022]

    HINT: 

    It requires when replacing the ECM.

  8. UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY 

    Refer to UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY [11/2021 - ]

    HINT: 

    It requires when replacing the ECM.

  9. WORK PROCEDURES AFTER PARTS INSTALLED 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [11/2021 - 05/2022]

  10. WORK PROCEDURES AFTER BATTERY RECONNECTED 

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
