Failure to follow specified procedures may result in death or serious injury due to improper handling of side airbags possible.

Only appropriately trained persons may carry out work on pyrotechnic components or the Airbag Control Unit.
Perform SRS disabling procedure prior to commencing work
When replacing components of the SRS system, never install used or non-genuine components
Pyrotechnic Components must be handled and scrapped appropriately

Removal Procedure:

Remove front seat (passenger). Refer to FRONT SEAT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Unlock and disconnect 5 electrical connector (1).

Remove 2 screws (1).
Torque: 2 Nm

Remove front seat assist power seat module (1).

Installation Procedure:

Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.
All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification!
Install front seat (passenger). Refer to FRONT SEAT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING SCAN TOOL IN SERVICE
