Front Side Door Window Channel Removal And Installation/Replacement

WARNING: Crushing by moving parts
Failure to follow specified procedures may result in death or serious injury due to movement of the window regulator.

Secure the component against uncontrolled movement.
Always use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure vehicle is correctly disabled/powered down to prevent unexpected motion or activation of components.

Removal Procedure:

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side.

Remove front side door water deflector. Refer to FRONT SIDE DOOR WATER DEFLECTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

Pull window frame sealing (1) off window channel.
Installation note: Make sure that the window frame sealing (1) is correctly seated in the window channel.

Remove 2 bolt (1).
Torque: 8 Nm
Guide out the window channel (1) from the door and remove it.
Installation note: Make sure that the window channel (1) is correctly seated (small picture).

Installation Procedure:

Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.
All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification!
Install front side door water deflector. Refer to FRONT SIDE DOOR WATER DEFLECTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
