HVAC Climate Control Module Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V Battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove Gateway Module. Refer to GATEWAY MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

3. Remove screw (1).

   Torque: 5 Nm 

4. Remove footwell outlet (2) in arrow direction.

5. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1).

6. Remove 4 screws (1).

   Torque: 1.2 Nm 

7. Remove HVAC Climate Control Module (2) downwards.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install Gateway Module. Refer to GATEWAY MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Reconnect 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
4. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING SCAN TOOL IN SERVICE
