Accessory Roof Rails Installation

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

  1. Remove roof trim. Refer to ROOF TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
  2. Lower the Headlining Trim Panel and place it in the vehicle, do not remove it completely. Refer to HEADLINING TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

Installation Procedure:

NOTE: Damage 
Risk of damage to vehicle paint work.
  • Mask off/protect paint work appropriately to avoid damage.
  1. Remove 6 clamps (1).
  2. Remove 4 adhesive pads (2).

  3. Insert the gaskets (1) as depicted.

  4. Place and align the accessory roof rails (1).

  5. Insert and tighten 4 bolts (1) evenly.

    Torque: 14 Nm 

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

    All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

  2. Install the Headlining Trim Panel. Refer to HEADLINING TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
