Spare Wheel Installation

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Removal Procedure: 

1. Open tailgate.
2. Remove load floor trim panel. Refer to LOAD FLOOR TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Remove rear compartment floor stowage trim compartment. Refer to REAR COMPARTMENT FLOOR STOWAGE TRIM COMPARTMENT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

4. Install the new rear compartment floor stowage trim compartment (toolbox) (1).

5. Remove 4 bolts (1) from the rear compartment side rails.

   Installation note: Screws must be replaced with longer ones.

6. Install the spare wheel bracket (1) with spacer (2) and using 4 new longer bolts (3).

   Torque: 30 Nm

7. Insert and position the spare wheel (1) correctly on the guide pin (2).

8. Install the tire platen bracket (1).
9. Install and screw in the spare tire platen (2).
