Fuel Injector Resistance Test

Turn ignition off. Disconnect fuel injector electrical connector. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between fuel injector terminals. See Fig 1 and FUEL INJECTOR RESISTANCE  table. If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel injector.

2.8L VR6 (Engine Code AES) 15-21.5
2.8L VR6 (Engine Code AXK) 13-19
(1) Fuel injector resistance is at room temperature. Fuel injector resistance is higher at engine operating temperatures.
