11.3 Blind Spot Detection Control Module - J1086-/Blind Spot Detection Control Module 2 - J1087-, Removing And Installing
Removing
- Remove the rear bumper. Refer to Body Exterior (Rear Bumper; Bumper Cover, Removing and Installing).
- Disconnect the connector -2-.
- Remove the nut -1- and the screws -4- for the bracket.
- Remove the Blind Spot Detection Control Module - J1086-/Blind Spot Detection Control Module 2 - J1087- with the bracket -1-.
- Remove the Blind Spot Detection Control Module - J1086-/Blind Spot Detection Control Module 2 - J1087- -2- from the bracket -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
NOTE:
- The blind spot detection calibration normally occurs automatically.
- Static calibration is only required when there is a DTC memory entry.
Tightening Specifications
- Refer to 11.1 Overview - Blind Spot Detection .
