Oxygen Sensor Replacement

  1. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical leads and remove oxygen sensor. Coat new oxygen sensor threads with anti-seize compound before installing oxygen sensor.
    NOTE: Do not apply anti-seize compound to the slotted part of the oxygen sensor.
  2. Tighten oxygen sensor to 36-44 ft. lbs. (50-60 N.m). Reconnect the electrical lead.
