Resistor Resistance Check

Set an ohmmeter in the low scale. Be sure ignition switch is "OFF". Check resistance of each resistor in the primary circuit. See Figure . Some manufacturers use resistor wires instead of ballast resistors. Most use 2 ballast resistors.
