Checking Fluid Level

  1. Position vehicle on level floor. Apply parking brake and shift selector lever to "P". Start engine and let idle. Shift selector lever through all gears pausing 4-5 seconds for engagement at each position.
  2. Return selector lever to "P". Wait 2 minutes and remove dipstick. Wipe dipstick and insert. Withdraw dipstick and check reading. Level must be between "MIN" and MAX" marks.
