Pulse Wheel: Installation

  1. Press new pulse wheel onto brake rotor. Install inner wheel bearing and grease seal. Slide brake rotor onto spindle. Install outer wheel bearing and nut.
  2. Torque spindle nut to 41 ft. lbs. (57 N.m) while rotating disc rotor. Loosen nut 1/2 turn and retighten finger tight. If nut recess is not lined up with hole in spindle, tighten to next recess. Install cotter pin and dust cap.
  3. Install brake caliper using new attaching bolts. Torque caliper to 72 ft. lbs. (100 N.m). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
