Checking The Cable

- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector for the treble loudspeaker/upper loudspeaker in the right front door
- Disconnect the 16-pin connector for the audio module (AUD).
HINT: The front right treble loudspeaker/upper loudspeaker and bass speaker are connected to these signal cables.
Check the cable terminals in the female and male sections of the connector. The cable terminals must not be damaged or pressed back.
Check the signal cable between audio module (AUD) terminal #B3 and treble speaker/upper loudspeaker terminal #2 in the front right door. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the signal cable between audio module (AUD) terminal #B11 and treble speaker/upper loudspeaker terminal #1 in the front right door. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.
