Checking for an open circuit

Check door control unit connector B7 for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Contact resistance and oxidation .

Trouble-shoot the wire between fuse holder secondary side (left) and door control unit connector B7 for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults .

If a fault is detected, check in particular the intermediate connector in the cable harness (1/control unit) for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Contact resistance and oxidation .

If there is an open circuit the fault should be between the fuse and the common junction point 53/427.

Check door control unit connector B12 for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Contact resistance and oxidation .

Trouble-shoot the wire between fuse holder secondary side (left) and door control unit connector B12 for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults .

If a fault is detected, check in particular the intermediate connector in the cable harness (1) for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Contact resistance and oxidation .
