Checking The Wiring And Terminals

The fault is due to one of the following: 

1. The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) detects that the front passenger seat belt (inertia) reel sensor is connected to the control module. The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) is programmed so that the front passenger seat belt (inertia) reel sensor is not in the vehicle.
2. The seat belt (inertia) reel sensor mounted in the vehicle is not designed for this vehicle model.

• Check which equipment the vehicle has.

Remedy as necessary.
