Oil Level And Temperature Sensor (7/318) [2020-2022]: Description

The oil level and temperature sensor uses an ultrasonic technology to measure the oil level. Ultra sound waves are sent out from the MCM (multi-chip module) positioned at the bottom of the sensor. The waves are sent through the oil until they reach air. The waves are reflected back to the sensor, and an oil level measurement is available. The bottom of the sensor consist of a labyrinth for the oil, which eliminates air bubbles that disturb the measurement.
