Control Unit Input
- Disable air bag system. Remove instrument panel lower left cover. Remove left knee bolster. Cruise control unit is located near left kick panel. See Fig 1
.
- Disconnect cruise control unit 14-pin connector. Ensure connector and terminals are okay. Repair as necessary and retest system. If connector and terminals are okay, use a DVOM to perform cruise control unit input tests. See Fig 2
. If an input test indicates a problem, find and correct cause and retest system. If all input test results are okay, replace cruise control unit.
