SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING INDEX

Vehicle speed can be set, but there is no adaptive cruise control (ACC) indication on the MID	Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function (see SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION ).
Vehicle speed cannot be set when the SET switch is pressed (between the 25 mph (40 km/h) and 90 mph (145 km/h))	Test the cruise control combination switch (see CRUISE CONTROL COMBINATION SWITCH TEST ). Test the transmission range switch (see TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH TEST ). Test the brake pedal position switch (see HIGH MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REPLACEMENT ). Check for a short in the SCS line.
