Ignition Coolant Temperature Sensor
- Ignition coolant temperature sensor is located in the thermostat housing. See Fig 1. Using ohmmeter, check that contact to ground is closed with engine cold.
- Operate engine until coolant temperature is at least 95-106°F (35-41°C). Contacts should open at this temperature. Replace unit if not to specification.
