Electronic Control Unit (Ecu) Operation

The ECU is the "brain" of the fuel injection system. It is a pre-programmed, solid state computer which receives and interprets data from various engine sensors and switches. This data is used to determine the amount of fuel required by the engine to maintain efficiency and minimize exhaust emissions under varying operating conditions.
